EMcubate: Ireland’s first ethnic-minority business incubation programme

January 30, 2012

One of the projects I have been working on is helping bring together an ethnic-minority business incubation programme. EMcubate (http://emcubate.wordpress.com) will provide nascent ethnic-minority entrepreneurs a structured support programme of pre-enterprise programmes, including a write your own business plan course, advice and mentoring, access to the necessary support agencies, priority to incubation units and a developing programme of supports for existing ethnic-minority entrepreneurs. It is a joint action between New Communities Partnership (www.newcommunities.ie), Ballymun Whitehall Area Partnership (www.ballymun.org) and supported by the Integration Office of Dublin City Council (www.dublincity.ie) and will have its hub in the Ballymun Whitehall Enterprise Centre.

Anybody interested can give me a mail and I will give them more information.

There will be an information session on Saturday 4th February 2012 in the Ballymun Whitehall Enterprise Centre with registration from 10.30 am (to finish by 1.00 pm). For more information see http://emcubate.wordpress.com.
