Selling & Negotiating Skills for Entrepreneurs (New book)

I have not been very active on the blog for the past few weeks, mainly because I was writing up this book; ‘Selling & Negotiating Skills for Entrepreneurs’. This is based upon a 3-day selling skills for entrepreneurs programme I developed many years ago but never got around to writing up the book, at least until now. This book aims to provide entrepreneurs and nascent entrepreneurs with little or no sales experience an introduction into sales and the selling/buying process. For many years I have met clients who have an unnecessary fear of sales. Many people set up their own business because they are good at their particular skill but have no business skills. I focus on the buying process; helping a client through their buying process and aligning the sales process to focus on this and the client. If you have read this blog before you will know that I believe that you should focus on the clients ‘buying process’ rather than focusing on the ‘selling process’ which focuses too much on the salesperson.
